Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

Our sweet friend Sarah shared lots of recipes with me & this one is super yummy & pretty easy to make!

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients:
2  9*5 loaf pans (sprayed with non-stick spray)
3 cups whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoons ground cloves
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon table salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup white sugar
6 ounce container vanilla greek yogurt
3 eggs, slightly beaten
15 ounce can pumpkin puree
1/2 cup apple sauce
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips (optional); 
additional chocolate chips to sprinkle on top

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, baking soda, & baking powder in a medium sized bowl.

3.  In a separate mixing bowl combine both brown & white sugar. Add yogurt, eggs, pumpkin, apple sauce, & vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.

4.  Slowly add dry ingredients to wet & stir until combined.

5. Next stir in the chocolate chips. Then divide the batter between two 9*5 loaf pans (sprayed with non-stick spray).  Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.  Bake around 50 minutes or until lightly browned.

out of the oven to cool....
